Entrepreneurship is the new trend these days. Everyone relates entrepreneurship to owning and running your own business, founding your start-ups, and selling them for a high price so that you can invest that money for your next business.

But as Ronan Gafni and Simcha Gluck said:

“Entrepreneurship is no longer about business; it is the new mindset”

So, is one born with such a mindset or can this be acquired over the years? Entrepreneurship is a skillset and like every skill, this too can be learned. And if you are reading this blog, then it means you have already taken the first step to acquiring this skill.

Entrepreneurs are people who see a problem in the world and are focused on creating a solution to solve this problem. They are open-minded, innovative, constantly thinking out of the box and are willing to take certain risks to try something new.

Entrepreneurship is not just about inventing something new, it is also about finding new ways to use the available technologies and resources. So, being an entrepreneur simply means having an entrepreneurial mindset. This mindset is defined by some as the ability to turn an idea into something useful and convince your target market that they need this.

The idea doesn’t even have to be necessarily yours. It could be your business partner’s who is good at numbers and developing the technical requirements and make sure that the idea works. Does this mean that he is not an entrepreneur? Of course not! He is an entrepreneur too because he saw a “problem” and came up with the idea to solve this problem.

You do you realize how multi-faceted the term entrepreneur can be?

So yes, Entrepreneurship can be taught. We believe sitting in a class for entrepreneurs and learning to become an entrepreneur by yourself are two sides of one coin. On one side, you have the classroom learning. Here you can start with the basics, such as how do you develop your own, unique personal brand, what is a business plan and how do you create it, how do you conduct a productive brainstorming workshop, etc. Once you take your first step into the entrepreneurs’ world, you start to notice things that you have always taken for granted. You start to look for things that help you stimulate your mind. You start looking for different kinds of books on Kindle or Scribd. This is the other side of the coin.

So, if you want to be an entrepreneur, do not fret, because you read until this paragraph and that shows that you have the right amount of curiosity for it. Let me give you a small list of recommended ding that you can use to fuel this curiosity.
